About

Meet Your Practitioner
Dana Bairen, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M

The journey began when, at 19, I became a massage therapist. However, I soon realized that massage had its limitations in treating chronic or serious illnesses, both physical and psychological. Seeking a deeper way to help, I joined the Air Force, hoping to find my true calling.

One day, while reading a magazine, I discovered Oriental Medicine, and instantly, I knew it was what I had been searching for. I spent my military years studying and earned my Bachelor's degree, followed by Master's degrees in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After graduation, I provided care at a cancer center, where I learned the importance of making patients feel supported and understood.

In 2009, I opened Emerge, a clinic dedicated to offering compassionate care and a variety of healing services to the community.

My experience extends over almost two decades. I have taught at the Arizona School of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. My practice treated the Arizona State Sun Devils women's basketball team. I have also worked at an oncology clinic, treating those in dire need. Along with community acupuncture and treating the aging population, I also treat fertility issues and children.

The goal of my practice is to assist people into becoming, healing, and achieving what they felt was not a possibility. My mission with every treatment is to transform mind, body, and spirit and help you emerge.
